Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL)

Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) is an initiative of Atal Innovation Mission under NITI Aayog that aims to foster creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills among school students. ATL provides access to modern technologies such as robotics, 3D printing, IoT, electronics, and artificial intelligence, enabling students to transform ideas into real-world solutions.

Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) is a flagship initiative launched by Atal Innovation Mission under NITI Aayog to create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among young students across India. ATL establishes dedicated innovation workspaces in schools equipped with state-of-the-art tools and technologies, including robotics kits, 3D printers, sensors, electronics, coding platforms, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The primary objective of ATL is to encourage students to think creatively, identify real-world challenges, and develop innovative solutions through hands-on learning. Through workshops, competitions, mentorship programs, and innovation challenges, students gain practical exposure to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts while developing critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills. ATL empowers young minds to become future innovators, inventors, and problem-solvers who can contribute to society and drive technological advancement in India.
